Studio Mao Announces Interactive HD Video Streaming Technology Platform STP

NEW YORK, January 15, 2010 – Studio Mao announced the creation of an online interactive division responsible for the delivery of HD quality content to living rooms via the internet. Subscribers will be able to view Studio Mao movie releases and content utilizing STP™ technology that will further permit an interactive experience with dynamic and live HD feeds.

The platform will offer an alternative for moviegoers who prefer to view new releases in the comfort of their own homes at a fee equivalent to four standard theater admissions.

President and Founder Stephen Mao, said at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, "DVD and Blue-Ray technologies are in the late stages of maturity and consumers are searching for a high quality 1080p experience. STP™ will deliver not only this quality but also permit immediate secure streaming of new content with an interactive edge."

During a recent collaboration between media giants MTV Networks and Twentieth Century Fox live interactive HD video was streamed to promote the new James Cameron movie "Avatar", fans were able to engage live with Cameron and two of the movie's stars, Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana. Mao added, "It is clear that the industry is seeking the next best thing and Studio Mao intends to collaborate with the traditional distribution channels to create a product consumers will want to experience at a reasonable cost."
